. At least 10 killed after truck and mini-bus collide in China
BEIJING, Sept 3 (AFP) Sep 03, 2010
At least 10 people were killed after a truck and a mini-bus collided on an expressway in northeastern China on Friday, state-run media reported.

The accident happened at about 2:00 pm (0600 GMT) near Jiamusi city in Heilongjiang province, the official Xinhua news agency said, citing a city government official.

It was not clear how many people were injured in the crash, the report said.

China's roads are among the most dangerous in the world, with traffic laws widely flouted.

Almost 70,000 people died in road accidents in 2009, or around 190 fatalities a day, according to police statistics.
