Huang Chunping, chief commander of rocket system of China's Manned Space Program confirmed that China would launch the Shenzhou VI this autumn. There would be two astronauts on the Shenzhou VI and the space flight would last for over five days. The question is what the difference between the system of the Shenzhou VI and the Shenzhou V. Huang Chunping said that, as for the launch stage, two technologies were added to the Shenzhou VI. First, a visual system was installed at the crunode where the rocket and the ship would separate during the launch. In this way the land monitors can see if the spaceship can successfully blast off after the rocket was launched and reached the targeted height. Second, a fire security system was added on the escape tower of the ship for better safety for the astronauts. As for interiors of the spaceship, Huang Chunping said that re-entry module of the ship was designed for 3 astronauts. The space inside the ship is more than enough for the two astronauts on this mission. When Yang Liwei came back from his space flight, he said that he felt minor heartache for some time after the ship blasted off. The interior design of Shenzhou VI this time would hopefully improve such situation. There have been lingering questions as to whether the astronauts this time would stay inside the re-entry module all the time during the space flight. Huang Chunping said that this time the two astronauts would venture to the orbital module for scientific experiments. However they will not walk outside of the ship.
