UK's First China Space Race Exhibition Launched

A new exhibition which showcases China's space race and the history of aerospace exploration from ancient China through to the present day will open for the first time in the UK next week at MOSI (Museum of Science and Industry), in association with the Confucius Institute at The University of Manchester. The United States made an initial decision Wednesday to slap stiff duties - as high as 175 percent - on woven electric blankets from China on claims they were being dumped at unfairly low prices. China stressed Thursday it wanted to cooperate with the United States, in the wake of tensions between the two countries over Google, US arms sales to Taiwan and a host of trade issues.
